Prepared in advance: ISAIAH 53

There are two types of Christians out there. Those who believe that salvation is all about booking a mansion in heaven and those who understand that Christ died to restore our relationship with God.

The fear I have is that for a long time all we understand about the death of Christ is embodied in one destiny; Heaven. Which actually places us in an environment that doesn’t encourage growth, relationship or actual devotion to God. You get saved and your slot in heaven is secure.

But think with me for a moment. Isaiah 53 announces the death of Christ in amazing detail. Verse 5 actually states “But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.” Nowhere do we see the misleading idea that He died for us to go to heaven. Christ died to bring us PEACE. He was wounded to give us HEALING and was crushed because of our iniquities.

Going to heaven is just a portion of the whole thing. A very small part- Isaiah tells us how God prepared for this well in advance- verses 10-12 state:  “After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities. Therefore I will give him a portion among the great, and he will divide the spoils with the strong, because he poured out his life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.”

By Christ walking up Calvary’s hill, you were justified, he bore your iniquities that you may not bare them, He interceded on your behalf. Not only that you could go to heaven, but to make you an heir with Him. Redeem you from the title sinner- to Son.

Next time you see the cross; don’t think of it as your assurance of heaven, BUT YOUR ASSURANCE OF SONSHIP.

You have always kept me going no matter my weaknesses and challenges.

I give my self away to you now more than ever before.


Pliz use me for your glory coz i believe am here for a purpose Jeremiah29:11.
I have a feeling that i shall no longer hunger or thirst no more.


I shall not complain any more father.
May you give me wisdom as i enter into the world of maturity and seriousness.

To you my friend who is reading this, i have a message for you :
Do not ever underestimate God or doubt him .


Just do what he tells you to do and he'll bless you pap!

Even Demons believe.

 

You say you have faith, for you believe that there is one God. Good for you! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. - James 2.19

Believing there is a God in heaven, knowing about Him. Trusting He is there is not enough to transform your life. Salvation doesn’t come from knowing the existence of God but from Knowing and having a relationship with God through His son Jesus Christ.

Even the demons believe, and it hasn’t changed their damned state. In fact, in Luke 4.41 the word says “Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, “You are the Son of God!” But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Messiah.”

Can you imagine that the men of the cloth back then rubbed shoulders with the Messiah day in day out and had no knowledge of Him? They encountered Christ daily but didn’t have an encounter with Christ. They walked the same paths but didn’t walk with Him. They were in the presence of the Messiah but never appreciated or comprehended his Presence.

Today too, we have many people who attend church. Who profess their faith; Christianity has become the little box we tick when filling in forms at the bank or university admission. We believe in God but what good has come from that belief? We know about Christ but do we really know him?

It is about time we moved from that comfort zone and stopped just believing. Are you a Christian because you know God or are you a Christian because you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ died for you and confess with your lips that He is Lord? Are you in His presence everyday but you don’t even notice His presence? Do your paths cross, or do you walk the same path?

Move from that comfort zone of knowing there is a God in Heaven, move to that place where you now have a relationship with Him. Jesus says"I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14.6).

You say you have faith because you believe in one God? Good for you, even demons believe. Make that decision today, move from knowing to trusting in Him, Believing in Him, Depending on Him, having a relationship with Him, loving Him, submitting your life to Him.

Hullo friends?

just wanted to let you know that i'm working on new songs and videos.

I have also started going for high school missions and its so wonderful just seeing God's people praising him and coming back to him.
