PHANEROO~DEVOTION 4thDecember 2015 OF PROPHECY Apostle Grace Lubega

[Revelation1:1]; The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John.

The ardent mind in God’s revelation to John was not necessarily prophesy but the revelation of Christ. He was not just saying, this and that is going to happen. That is the problem with many prophets; they know events and affairs; they don’t know the revelation of Christ behind what is revealed to them.

Some prophets cannot go to the backend to see what and why he has revealed this and that. They only stand in the testimony of what is revealed to establish themselves, and that is why saints are not perfected for the work of the ministry to the edification of the body. There is no perfection in being told an event when the revelation of Christ is not known.

There are people who have gone past proving Christ. Prophecy cannot only be directional, it must be revelational. There is a line of prophecy for those who are babes or those who are still on milk. To them, prophecy is just to prove the existence of God. The bible says, for if there be a prophet among you, they shall speak forth and they that don’t believe shall believe and bow their heads down and say there is a God.

However, after they believe, prophecy changes course.  It goes past the average explanation of the events that must take place to explaining the revelation of Christ behind what is revealed.
