PHANEROO~DEVOTION 30th March 2016 PATTERNS OF DILIGENCE Apostle Grace Lubega
[Proverbs 22:29]; Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
Any man who wants to walk in blessing must be a diligent spirit. The Bible says the thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want. This means that even the thoughts of a diligent man are anointed with greatness. They attract prosperity, success and plenty.
When a man has a diligent spirit, he cannot stand before mean people, mean men are far away from him. If there are many mean people in your life; mean bosses or mean supervisors, you ought to perhaps question whether you are diligent. If you are diligent, God will create another generous and favour filled hand to feed you.
Most people are in lack because they do not have diligent spirits. In this life, some people toil with so many things without direction and remain in a state of perpetual need. Others perfected their craft and never really do much but have plenty. The difference is in their diligence.
The spirit of diligence is that of the man who has made up his mind to do something in the true order of the spirit. He is one who is regular in so doing and is committed to finish it no matter the circumstances. Diligent spirits do not quit; they do not fail. If your mind is made up to do anything, do it. Diligence empowers your spirit with the ability and the will to do what you have set out to do. Let the skills for doing whatever it is come later. The skills come by grace as instruction and mentorship is given.
However, start with what you know, everything else will fall into place. If you desire to preach the gospel and all you know is that God is a healer, start by telling people about that healing God. Have this heart for the kingdom!!!
