PHANEROO~DEVOTION 20th April 2016 Apostle Grace Lubega
For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth [Romans 9:11].
DIVINE ELECTION
In the ministry of the election of God, God does not elect after the order of men, because when men elect, they look at merit; they look at height; they look at weight; they look at fashion; they look at beauty; they look at style. But that is not how God elects because, that very God tells you that ‘I chose the foolish things of this world that I may confound the wisdom of the wise’. The reason why God is going to use you is because when you look at yourself, you lack the ability to do those things.
Now, where there is a divine election, I have noticed all my life, that there is always a divine change of things. Some people posses what belongs to you. I am talking about a God who will give you houses you never built. There is a man who is sleeping in a house with your name on it, a vine yard planted by another for you.
Child of God, to receive from God is an easy thing. Religion has complicated the simplicities of divine providence from the hand of a loving father. Not everything you must receive has to be worked for. You are going to see that God, that anointing work in your life. When people ask you how? Your answer will be simple, ‘divine election.’ May you receive this as your portion this day in the name of Jesus, Amen.

GOLDEN NUGGET: The reason why God is going to use you is because when you look at yourself, you lack the ability to do those things.
PRAYER: Lord we thank you for we are called of you, thank you for the things that belong to us simply by your promise and not our works. We thank you for those houses we did not build, vineyards we did not plant and for wells we did not dig. Thank you for those things that come easily to us because our story and testimony was never one of struggle. Lord we receive. We receive. We simply receive Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
