PHANEROO~DEVOTION 17th October 2015 FEELING AFTER Apostle Grace Lubega

[Acts 17:26-27];  And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us.

The places of seeking and feeling after are the things that launch us in finding God. God does not want to be found by men who feel but they do not seek, neither does he want to be found by men who seek but do not feel after.

If a man does not feel after, he will misuse the gifting on his life. If a man does no seek after he will dissipate the spirit on his life. That is the difference between people who walk in consonance with the Holy Ghost and those who quench the Holy Spirit. When they quench, they grieve and having grieved him, they reject him.

The bible says that you were sealed with him until the day of redemption. He cannot leave you but he can become inactive. You might worship, pray, preach, and encourage others, yet  the Holy spirit in you  is inactive. You find that you work but it is as if you feel for God more than he feels for you because the Holy spirit is present but inactive. It is because you grieved him.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 16th October 2015 OUR LINES OF VICTORY Apostle Grace Lubega

[Psalm 91:7-8]; A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. Only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked.

It is possible not to go through issues; you don't have to first suffer. I have seen men with the message about coming out of issues but then the spirit of God told me that it is better when you don't get in.

There is a generation that has been teaching so much about how to get out and that's wonderful but God is raising a generation of men who don't even go in. You had HIV and now you are healed. It is a wonderful testimony but how another has stayed healthy for 20 years without any disease is a better testimony. It is more miraculous to stay healthy.

Look at Joshua fighting his enemies. The Lord promises him victory and he stops the sun just so he could finish his victory. Of course these men are tired because it is a war. Look at another man, Elijah with an even greater testimony. When he is told that the Syrian army is coming to attack Israel, he prepares a cup of coffee. He is not moved, he says, ‘ I have more on my side’ because he has access to the spiritual world that he prays for the servant to see how many were surrounding them.

The Lord gave the man options regarding how he wanted the Syrians dealt with. He asked that they be struck with blindness and it was done. There is another way to fight. One where you can come out with no scratch.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 15th October 2015 THE CONTROLLED SPIRIT II Apostle Grace Lubega

[Proverbs 25:28]; He that hath no rule over his own spirit is like a city that is broken down, and without walls.

For those who say they are under attack and that the devil is always afflicting  them, they are like a city without walls. Such are men that cannot rule their spirits. I am not speaking of controlling other men's spirits because you are above them but your own spirit. Let a man rule his own spirit rather than you ruling them because you have authority over them.

When you see and understand the concept of cities, you realise that they are covered by walls for protection. That means that when your spirit is not ruled, you are not covered; anything can attack you at any time. You can get an accident just like that.
There are some people whose lives are predictable to the devil. He does not fear to afflict them anytime and anywhere.

It is a hard truth but you are responsible for what is happening in your life. You can claim that it is your father's fault. You can blame anyone you want but understand that you are primarily responsible.

People always intend us harm but there is a reason as to why we don't suffer. God didn't say there shall not be fire but He said, when you go through the fire, He would be with you.

The ‘when' experiences mean you cannot be that anointed and not attract certain things. You cannot be that blessed and not attract anybody who has an issue with you. If nobody is attacking you, get born again, again.

There is an account of the spirit regarding your life, and this account can't have a clean slate. That's the essence of salvation. You simply tell the devil to bring it on.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 14th October 2015 THE CONTROLLED SPIRIT Apostle Grace Lubega

[Ecclesiastes 8:8]; There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.

The spirit can have manifestations in our lives. He can increase us, bless us, multiply us but we must learn the way of the spirit.

Every man that striveth for mastery is temperate in all things. Now, they do it to obtain a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible one.

The place for temperance is being skillful. Our places of maturity are the obtaining of skill by the spirit. The spiritual world has skill. There are men who are skilled in the word and those that are not, even though they both have the word. Your spirit must be skilled in the word.

There is no man that has power over the spirit yet the skill of the spirit enables you to have power over your spirit. When the bible says that there is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit, it does not mean you cannot have power over your spirit.

The only problem with Christians is that they think they are men. You are not a man. You are begotten not of the will of flesh nor the will of man but of God. You are a spirit, the offspring of God.

Men cannot control their spirits but you have power over your spirit. It is by the skill in this wisdom that men can have power over their spirits. If you never have power over your spirit, your life will be breached. You will have a life that is not consonant with the testimony you carry as a Christian.

Many Christians are the way they are because their spirits are breached. They have a spirit that is not controlled by them because they read Ecclesiastes 8:8 saying that ‘there is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit.'

Well, no man has power over the spirit because he is speaking about a man, flesh and blood, but when you became born again, you ceased to partake of that portion. You have the power to control your spirit.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 13th October 2015 WE MUST GIVE BIRTH Apostle Grace Lubega

[Amos 8:11]; Behold the days come saith the Lord God that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread nor a thirst for water but of hearing the words of the Lord.

Days ago, the Lord allowed me to see and have a certain picture about the church and some of the ministers presently standing in our nation. It was too sad to see how many men are inclining to a certain spirit. We are literally exposing lies. We are not doing this by saying that so and so is a liar but every time we speak truth, we are breaking down institutions.

Think about it. A man has built something; it educated him; he bought a plot of land out of it; he built houses and a ministry and to his uttermost shock, he realizes that everything he ever built on was sinking sand.  When you stand in your fellowship and speak this thing that breaks everything the man has lived for, he is not going to smile with you. Unfortunately, many are not humble enough to move with the flames.

Ever since this thing started pouring out upon many, there are those who have realised that they don't find sleep anymore. Some have found that they don't have peace; not that there is a demon around them but because there is just a certain urge; something they feel has to happen.

The reason why that urgency is there is because God is preparing us. I feel we are like pregnant people. God is preparing us for something we are entering and it is going to be very spiritually sensitive.

That is why now I ask you, if you have been praying for thirty minutes; make it an hour. If you have been praying for one hour; make them two hours. If you have been praying for two hours; make them three hours. If you have been on whatsapp talking for seven hours; reduce them to two. We have an urgency and need to seek God like never before. Whether you are married or single, whether you are in school or not, we have to step up our game of seeking God.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 12th October 2015 INTOXICATED II Apostle Grace Lubega

[Ephesians 5:18]; And be not drunk with wine wherein is excess; but be filled with the spirit.

What does it mean to be filled by the Holy Ghost? It means he controls everything; your thought life, that even when you swing your arm, it cannot be by mistake. Even, when you sneeze, you are releasing answers.

This thing controls everything. When, you are under that control, you don't just look outside. You look outside by his leading. You don't just sit on a chair, you sit by his leading. You don't just sit in a car, you sit by his leading. You don't just speak any word. Everything that you do is governed and controlled.

When you get to the sick, it is not about you collecting your faculties of faith that you have been taught or trying to allude to a certain word and think that when you get it out of the bible, it will work. This thing automatically works when you reach a sick man.  That is why Paul speaks of living by the faith of the son and not faith in the son.

This thing got on one woman; Aimee Semple. The story says that she just started to preach and the streets flooded with men and women listening to her.  Today, you see men preaching on the streets and nobody is listening. Don't these men realize that there is a problem? How can a person start to preach on the street until the police decides to give her a square for people to come and listen to her? That is how her ministry started.

It is high time some men break what they carry as ministries and start the real thing. There are a lot of things in our generation that are not the spirit at all. These men built companies limited by shares. When you look keenly at some ministries, you will realize that they are companies limited by shares and nothing of the spirit.

To be filled by the Holy Ghost means that He controls everything.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 11th October 2015 INTOXICATED Apostle Grace Lubega

[Ephesians 5:18]; And be not drunk with wine wherein is excess; but be filled with the spirit.

The disciples were commanded by Christ to tarry in Jerusalem until the Holy Ghost is come.  They locked themselves up in the upper room because they were not in the mood of celebrating Pentecost. There is nothing about the upper room that was a Pentecostal experience. In fact these men in the upper room refused to celebrate Pentecost and chose to lock themselves up in order to get an experience that is bigger than Pentecost.

I don't understand Christians who say they are Pentecostal. The issue was not the day of Pentecost. It was the infill of the Holy Ghost. That is why after Pentecost, we still have people being filled by the Holy Ghost. God is saying that do not put your trust in days. Don't go back in the bondage of days and feasts. The substance is not on which day you are filled; the substance is ‘be ye filled’.

When the scriptures say be not drunk with wine wherein is excess; but be filled with the spirit, many people do not understand that when a man is drunk with wine, whatever he does is because of the wine.

One time they brought to court a certain soldier who had killed a man in a drunken state and in his defense, it was said that the man could not have killed the other because the two were friends. It was said that it was the alcohol that killed the friend.  That means that when the bible says do not be drunk with wine wherein is excess, it means that a man can take too much of alcohol to a place where it consumes him and controls everything about him.

Another time, there is a man that took alcohol and when he got to the door of his house, his mind convinced him that the bed was right there. He took off his shirt, hang it up and slept right there; this is alcohol!

Do you realize that whatever gets control of you is what establishes faith and not you? How can a man drunk or high on drugs get the feeling he can beat the whole town? Where does he get that kind of faith from? He doesn't have any place to weigh weakness or limitation. That presupposes that he is not under any control except of that thing that has convinced him that he has power over everything.

I don't know if you get the concept of faith. If that thing can get on a man and convince him enough to have faith that he is on water yet he is on dry ground, how much more you who is controlled by the Holy Ghost?
Now when Christ comes walking on water, try to understand this concept. Faith blinds everything and controls a man to a place where even gravity bows.

Excerpt from the sermon: WALKING WORTHY OF THE LORD by Apostle Grace Lubega

Whatever gets control of you is what establishes faith.
