PHANEROO~DEVOTION 16th April 2016 Apostle Grace Lubega

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth [Genesis 1:26].

WHERE ARE YOUR LABOURS

It seems very okay in the minds of some Christians to work solely for men in their minds, but some find it hard to work for God in the ministry. Many men cannot think of being ministers of the gospel because of the thought that poverty will strike at their door. A man will work for hours at his office just to get a promotion. That same man will not spare even an hour to do door to door evangelism. Where are your labours, where are you investing? In things moth can eat?

The day you wake up and realize that everything you ever worked for was yours in the first place is the day you will realize that despite all your labours, you were nothing more than a slave if you never served God. Why are you not  late for an interview but are late for church? Why do you esteem lightly the one who is in you? How many things control you yet you ought to have control over them? How many people control you? The power of salvation was to bring men to a place where they had dominion and authority; the very spirit of lordship over everything in this life.

You are on the earth for the gospel. God must work in you even at the workplace. Let work be by divine purpose and not financial gain. If you are still under the motivation of financial gain, then you are of all men most deceived. Labouring for God is more important than labouring to gain anything on the earth. Stop investing where you expect to reap only carnal things. In the mind of the Almighty God, the idea is to lift up your eyes, and look to the fields; for they are white, already to harvest.  Our labours in God are harvests. They are not the sowing of seeds by a man seeking to have what is already given to him by faith.

FURTHER STUDY: Matthew 6:19, Matthew 6:33

GOLDEN STUDY: Our labours in God are harvests. They are not the sowing of seeds by a man seeking to have what is already given to him by faith.

PRAYER: Thank you God for the heart that you have given us for the sake of the kingdom; thank you for the understanding that if labours be for the gospel then they are never in vain; thank you that with this mind, the gospel is our priority; the reason we work; the reason we build businesses, the reason we expand, the reason for everything Lord. Thank you that at the end of our lives, our stories will not be of the vanities we built for ourselves but of the things we did for the sake of the kingdom for that is what makes our labours eternal. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth [Genesis 1:26].

THE SPIRIT OF DOMINION

The biggest lie that the devil has used against the Christians of our day is the thought that they do not have all that they need and have to go to church to obtain these things. For so long, we have tried to have, to get and to acquire. We do not know how to walk in what we already have by the scriptures. If you are to compare our lives to the standard of the gospel and the testimony of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, you realize that many come short because certain men and situations determined our times and our livelihoods.

We have frustrated the grace of God upon our lives for so long. Look at the revelations that ought to have changed the world not only by the words we speak but by the lives we had to live. The Bible says that he shall supply all our needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus; that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us; that we were given all things that pertain to life and godliness. How come you still cannot afford a meal or monthly rent? How can we then prove to those rich men in the world that they are poor or that there's more in God? How can we tell them we are greater, when we look to them for our success, when we have to force laughter around them to get favours?
Child of God, the beginning of salvation is the persuasion that all these things are ours and that we have free access. Then and only then can men seek for something deeper than money, the car, the house or the job but God, only God. What causes ten men to hold your lapel and say ‘we shall go with you’ is not the car you drive or your position in government but that you have God. The men of this world will not come to church because the church acquired cars and houses and good jobs, but that we live a life deeper than these material things- a life that showed them who God is.

FURTHER STUDY: Philippians 4:19, 2 Peter 1:3

GOLDEN NUGGET: The biggest lie that the devil has used against the Christians of our day is the thought that they do not have all that they need and have to go to church to obtain these things.

PRAYER: Father, we thank you that the testimony of the eternal life that we carry is not in the vanities of this life; the things that moth can eat; the things that are done with their use but in the knowledge of you and your son. Thank you that this knowledge and the hunger for it prevails over any need; it causes us to pray; to fast; to seek you; to love you; to spend and be spent for the gospel. This eternal life you have given us is what will cause men to come to you and as we grow in this knowledge, we thank you that they come because when they see us, Lord they see you. We thank you Jesus. Amen.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 14th April 2016 Apostle Grace Lubega

For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich [2 Corinthians 8:9].

NO GLORY IN POVERTY

I have seen Christians who think that if you are rich, you are a sinner who does not care for the poor. But many forget that Jesus said, for the poor, always ye have with you. Christians were not to be counted in that number.

The very spirit that is teaching the false testimony is the son of perdition. Who else could ask Mary, ‘why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to thy poor’, except a man whom the scriptures call the son of perdition, and who was afore ordained to betray the Christ?

The grace of Jesus Christ that was taught by the scriptures is this simple; 2 Corinthians 9:8 says; and God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.  The testimony of God is; if a man should have all that he has by Christ and can give for every divine work, there is no problem for that man to have what they want to have because they are in line with divine principle. Divine wealth is our story.

FURTHER STUDY: John 12:8, John 12:5

GOLDEN NUGGET: The testimony of God is; if a man should have all that he has by Christ and can give for every divine work, there is no problem for that man to have what they want to have because they are in line with divine principle.

PRAYER: Lord we are grateful for that grace that positioned us in the place of wealth before we ever thought to ask. We thank you that by that very grace, we have all that we need; that we are rich; we are blessed; we dwell in abundance; plenty is our story. Every day, we walk in this abundance for the sake of the kingdom; we increase for the kingdom; profit for the kingdom; expand for the kingdom. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 13th April 2016 Apostle Grace Lubega

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [ 2 Corinthians 3:17]

THE LIBERTIES OF HIS PRESENCE

When a man is perfected in the liberties of God’s presence, the ultimate challenge is his kind of prayer. For such a man, the prayer is not one that seeks after physical things but it is rather a prayer to see the invisible.  With this mind, men don’t go to prayer anymore because of need or by sentiment but they go to prayer for vision.

The Psalmist says he desires to dwell in the house of God, to behold his beauty and to inquire in his courts. Inquiries can only come after beholding. First see enough to inquire so that any instructions that follow come to a man who is inquiring because he first saw. This is not a man inquiring for direction, the direction was already given.

That is why the time between when God came and told Abraham to see as far as he could see at 75 and the time he came back to make demarcations for his descendants at 90 is fifteen years. The number fifteen represents new direction.

The directions were already given to your fore fathers. You’re the seed of the man who got the directions and the seed represents the word (Luke 8:11). You are the message of Abraham. When that man goes in the presence of God, he does not ask for direction because the law of liberty orders the footsteps. It is no more a matter of whether you are making the right decision because you make the plans and God orders the footsteps but rather because you are now the word of defined direction and identity. We don’t seek direction, we are the reason for direction.

FURTHER STUDY: Genesis 13:14-15, Psalms 37:23

GOLDEN NUGGET: When a man is perfected in the liberties of God’s presence, the ultimate challenge is his kind of prayer. For such a man, the prayer is not one that seeks after physical things but it is rather a prayer to see the invisible.

PRAYER: God we thank you because every day, we are perfected in the liberties of your presence and because we are, we see further than we can ever imagine with the greatest of precision. Thank you because the substance of what we behold defines our direction. Because we see you, we move as you, walk like you, run like you. You have defined our beginning and are surely our end. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION Apostle Grace Lubega 12th April 2016

So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty [James 2:12].

THE LAW OF LIBERTY

The judgements of God can only come after instruction and not before instruction that is why the book of Joshua comes before Judges. However, if I should lead you by instruction to judgment, you can only be judged by the law that sets you free. We shall be judged by the law of liberty. Some people think the judgment of a christian will be based primarily on  the things they did, rather yet, God will judge them based on the responsibility of the freedom they had to do those things which they were called to do in Christ. By it, God will ask how  we responded to and walked with our freedoms.

Assignments are tagged to that law. Some ministries relate to only what the devil is doing in the lives of men. The question is, when will they ever think outside the place of bondage to the place of being free? They are year in year out in "deliverances" that seem not to yield much since they know not, whosoever the son sets free is free indeed.

You are free to heal, free to demonstrate, free to build the biggest ministry, free to walk in the deepest places in and by the spirit. The ultimate question then is; with this liberty, how many did you heal? How big did you build? How deep did you walk? Therein is the judgment child of God.

FURTHER STUDY: Philippians 4:13, John 8:36

GOLDEN NUGGET: Some people think the judgment of a christian will be based primarily on  the things they did, rather yet, God will judge them based on the responsibility of the freedom they had to do those things which they were called to do in Christ.

PRAYER: Father we thank you for the law of liberty, that law of free men of which we are. We thank you because it is the law by which we live. Having been set free, the absoluteness of our freedom is that we can now do all things. All things. We thank you because that law is at work within us, to heal the sick, to give sight to the blind, to raise the dead, to build the biggest ministries, to do great things for the sake of the gospel. We thank you for such is our life’s story. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION Apostle Grace Lubega 11th April 2016

And as the ark of the LORD came into the city of David, Michal Saul's daughter looked through a window, and saw king David leaping and dancing before the LORD; and she despised him in her heart [2 Samuel 6:16].

LESSONS IN VIRTUE III

David was a man after God’s own heart.  He loved God. Since he was a young boy, he said, he would never rest until the glory of God was brought back to Israel. He married that commitment unto his God before he married Michal, she should have understood it. Michal should have come as a help meet, not a despiser.

Amazingly, the Bible does not tell us that the people of Israel despised the king as he danced. The only indifferent one in the story was the wife. If you know that as a woman you are supposed to be the helper, if you see your man naked ‘Michal’ cover him.
If your husband does something you do not agree with, but is in the scope of what is permissible, do not go everywhere talking about it, and disapproving of him but tell him, "I do not really agree with you in this matter, but since you are my husband, my role is to support you, let us do it." If he hits the wall on the same issue, I promise you, next time he will heed to your opinion.  But if you choose to despise him, because of ego, he will never seek your opinion again. Remember he is your leader. He goes before you. Do not frustrate the ranks simply because you are perhaps more educated, rich, or of any other advantage above him.

FURTHER STUDY: Genesis 2:18, Proverbs 31:26

GOLDEN NUGGET: If you know that as a woman you are supposed to be the helper, if you see your man naked ‘Michal’ cover him.

PRAYER: Father we thank you for this knowledge. Thank you for it lights our hearts and illuminates our spirits. Thank you because any woman that reads it will understand her ministry as a true helper; that she will seek to cover and never to expose; to lift and never to bring down; to celebrate and never to despise, indeed do him good all the days of her life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera [Judges 5:20].

IN THE LIBERTIES OF WARFARE

Even though this earth creates the impression that we do not have space, spiritually, you have too much space to function in the liberty of the spirit and consequently if you can’t cause change up there, you can’t cause change down here.

The Bible says that in the days of the judges, the stars in their own courses fought against Sisera. Even by the oldest wisdoms, men fought from up there. Kings in the Old Testament could get in the heavenly places and fight a war.

For long the church has been taught about the weapons of warfare but not how to war. The first lesson in warfare is the place from which we fight. We do not wage war on the earthly plane. When you understand this, men will not fight you on the earthly plane. The media cannot kill you; no radio station or television can put you down because you do not wage war with flesh and blood. Our warfare is up there. Sort your marriage from up there, your boss from up there, your children from up there.

FURTHER STUDY: Ephesians 6:12, Ephesians 1:21

GOLDEN NUGGET: Our warfare is up there. If you can’t cause change up there, you can’t cause change down here.

PRAYER: Father we thank you because we are seated in Christ, far above all principalities, powers and dominions. We thank you that this truth defines the places of our warfare. We thank you that because we are far above, nothing on the earth can break us or destroy us. In Jesus name. Amen.
