PHANEROO~DEVOTION 27th February 2016 LESSONS IN VIRTUE IV Apostle Grace Lubega

[Proverbs 21:19]; It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house.

When men go on the roof top, they do not go there physically. He might even return home at 6pm and read newspapers all evening yet he is absent. He is now reading national issues. Earlier on, you used to be the issue, now, he no-longer reads you.

When a man spiritually gets into that place where his spirit is on a roof top, he will easily be found by a strange woman. Do you know why men cheat on certain women? It is because some women are too hard to live with. For most of the men that I have counselled and they complained about their wives, I always ask them if they have a mistress. Whenever I ask about the mistress, the usual answer is 'there is a way she makes me feel.' Why is it about feelings? It is because what leaves that house when it is 6pm is the feeling after you. Strange women do not even necessarily love these men. They just like to play those games of making the men feel great and honoured. She tells him, 'daddy, my most honoured, great one, I noticed that you had not had anything to eat yet so I decided to prepare you something.'

Yet, you, the wife, woke up in the morning and dressed as quickly as you could because you were late, after all you are a banker. You rushed out of the house without a care as to whether he will have breakfast or not. Do you remember the virtuous woman?  She wakes up early, the Bible says, and prepares a meal for her husband and her maids. But you, dear dot com lady will leave the maid to do all the cooking because you are late for work. It does not matter how well read and studied you are. Once in a while, you have got to cook food for the entire household. Make sure that even the maid knows that you are indeed the chief cook of the house. Let your husband know it too.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 26th February 2016 YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN II Apostle Grace Lubega

[1 Corinthians 6:19]; What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

There was a time in life when some things were options to us. They were options because God has given us human will. For some of us, prayer was an option, giving was an option and preaching was an option. Human will has a grace that can be well used or abused. It is why Peter said never use your liberty for vice, a cloke of maliciousness. It is easy to use the grace of God for vice, like sinning for grace to abound.

Some things are options to many Christians. It is an option to pray or to lead a worship song. When you ask them why they did not come to pray, they answer lazily, ‘I just did not feel like leaving my bed to come for prayer.’

However, this is the wisdom of God; the times when those things were options was a place where our spirits were immature to who God is. Preaching is an option until a man grows up to maturity and like Paul says; for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! When Paul reached this place, he realized that the gospel is not something that had options.

Prayer In The Day Of Trouble by Minister Bwayos (Psalm 20:1-9)

Psalm 20:1-9

The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble;
the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;

Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice;

Selah ( you can put your name here). Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfill all thy counsel.
We will rejoice in thy salvation,
and in the name of our God we will set up [our] banners:

 the LORD fulfill all thy petitions (thanks giving prayers). Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; (that is you who is reading this my friend)

he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
Some [trust] in chariots, and some in horses:
but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. Save, LORD:
let the king hear us when we call.(KJV)

2 Peter 1:3
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:(KJV)

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 24th February 2016 The Berean Spirit

Apostle Grace Lubega

[Acts 17:10-11]; And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

Some people assume that because they have been around church for a long time, they know the Lord.  Being the preacher’s kid, a Christian might think she knows God. Some people claim to have read the Bible many times. However, when you ask them the mystery of God’s will, they cannot tell you a thing.

The thing about the scriptures is not how many times you have read them. It is about how many people read you. It is about those men that meet you and feel like they have met God. It is about those things you could not have done except for the scriptures. Jesus never walked with a big Bible. Reading many books does not mean you are learned.

The Bible speaks of the Bereans. They would search out the matters Paul preached to know if they were so.  Every Christian must go back and search the scriptures after a sermon. As a man meditates on these things, he creates an atmosphere for God to speak more. The Book of Acts records that as Peter pondered on the vision, God spoke. If he had not pondered on the vision, the spirit of God would not have said anything. For all the years I have preached, I have seen that the people who have matured are they that go back to study the matters.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 23rd February 2016 OF SPIRITUAL SIGHT Apostle Grace Lubega

[Galatians 5:25]; If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

There are three kinds of eyes; physical, soulish and spiritual. The first dimension of seeing is your physical eyes. It is the least and weakest because it can grow deem and is limited. Very few occurrences will allow you to see with your physical eyes into the spiritual realm. The majority of the experiences are to see with your spiritual eyes in the spiritual realm.

There are two kinds of eyes in the spiritual realm; one are the soulish; they are spiritual in their own sense because you cannot see them physically for example when you imagine yourself driving a car; those are eyes, but they are in the soulish realm. Now the spiritual realm is not controlled by the kind of sight that the soulish realm has. If you are dealing with a man in the soulish realm, the primary place of sight is either imagination or if not imagination then majorly dreams. There are Christians who never dream, or if they do, they will spend the whole day distracted and then remember that they had a dream. In dreams, God can speak.  You should have a problem if you forget your dreams or if you don’t dream at all.

Now, while dreams have their place in the gospel; even in the life of a new creature, that is not the primary place for the Christian. The primary place for the Christian is the spirit. It is the place where you are alive unto God.  You have to go past the place of ‘I dreamt’ to a place where even if you are seated somewhere, you can sense danger. Even if you are not sleeping, you should be able to see in the spirit. Those are now the eyes of your spirit. The Bible says, if we live in the spirit, let us also walk in the spirit. You are alive in the spirit; you don’t just hit ditches, you are alive.

You are alive in the spirit; you don’t just hit ditches, you are alive.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 22nd February 2016 SOMETHING DEEPER III Apostle Grace Lubega

[Psalms 27:4]; One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in his temple.

There is a void that is growing in the spirits of several men and women in this generation. All they want is God. Some have seen miracles, so they are not seeking the miracles. It is as if God has imprinted a certain picture in them of what they must be. When they look at where they are, they realize that they must walk in something bigger and greater. People are hungry for God and would do anything for him. It is prevenient grace working in them.

Purpose to not just know about God but know the person of God. Go beyond wanting to see miracles. Our fathers saw miracles but still died like normal men. Crave for something deeper. How about the experience of a man who walked with God and he was no more? How about the gospel truths becoming real to you? How about letting them define your reality? Yes you have seen God, you have preached about him, you have ministered him but desire for more.  God is a person. If married people can communicate without words, you can do that with God.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 21st February 2016 PROPHETIC VOICES III Apostle Grace Lubega

[2 Chronicles 20:20]; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

Child of God, thus says the Lord; there is a level you are walking away from; whether men want it; whether they do not want it; whether men believe it or don’t believe it; there is a certain level of the anointing that the Lord is establishing you in.

Like Esau got to a certain place and had to break his brother’s yoke off him, there are things upon your life that will not hold you any longer. It does not matter how many men are blessed. There is something upon your life which no man’s blessing can override; no man’s blessing can hide and no man’s blessing can suppress. I am talking of a place where the Lord edifies you above so many that it doesn’t matter how many men are blessed in your field, you will be blessed and separated.

If there be a yoke, you will break it off yourself because the power is with you. It will be obvious that no man helped you because it is the Lord working in you. Come rain or sunshine, your household will not run out of oil. Even if others starve for years in other places where the word and visions are scarce, yours will be an ever flowing life and your seed shall witness this; in the name of Jesus.

Excerpt from the sermon: THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP by Apostle Grace Lubega

It does not matter how many men are blessed. There is something upon your life which no man’s blessing can override; no man’s blessing can hide and no man’s blessing can suppress.
