PHANEROO~DEVOTION 19th December 2015 SHINE Apostle Grace Lubega

[Matthew 5:15]; Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

If a man who is not Born Again asks me how to become rich, I would tell him to get Born Again. But if a Christian asks the same, I will tell them they already are. How can you say you want to be what you already are? I will only teach you the principles of how to walk in it.

Princes or princesses are prepared to live a certain life; how to talk, how to act but they already are and are just being groomed for the future, but it doesn’t change the fact that they already are royalty.

You are blessed. You are a candle and you are already shining. Who can the Christ anoint and he fails? Who does he consecrate and he comes to nothing? He says, ‘how could I have set you apart for you to fail in this world?’ Nobody in this life can fail you. Not even your boss or the Government of Uganda. Those are bushels.

If anyone closes a way, Jesus says, ‘I am the way to get that visa; I am the way to get that job; to get you that man you need; I am the way to raise you up in that ministry.’ Jesus is the way, not any other person. You can't shield glory.

You cry and say, ‘Oh I was demoted.’ Just hold your peace. Let them demote you if they like. We are pressed down but not destroyed. The day your stuff comes, it will not come the same way the world receives; yours will be houses you never built, vineyards you never planted.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 18th December 2015 LIMITLESS Apostle Grace Lubega

[Romans 1:19]; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

The bible says that which may be known of God is manifest in them for God has shown it unto them. So how does it manifest in them? It is because he shows it to them. What the Lord shows you is automatically manifest and when it is manifest, it comes out as all God is and all that should be known of Him.

When people look at us, they should know God. This means that we have to be at a place where everything about us is a reflection of only God. If you are a doctor or a businessman, your practice or business is God. He says it has been manifest because I have revealed it to them, and nothing I have hid in my spirit will not come out to you.

Nothing that should be known of God shall not be manifested in you. Anything people know about God shall be manifest in his people because the place of faith has positioned them to receive of everything that he has promised; that there is nothing hid that shall not be manifested nor is anything kept secret that shall not come abroad.

So, I claim that in God and take it in my spirit because that means anything called depth in God one day will come through my teaching. That is why you can't be limited because God is not known to be limited; You can't fall or fail because God is not known to fall; You can't run out of vision , revelation and substance because God doesn't run out or run dry.

Excerpt from the sermon APOSTOLIC VOICES by Apostle Grace Lubega

You can't be limited because God is not known to be limited; You can't fall or fail because God is not known to fall; You can't run out of vision,  revelation and substance because God doesn't run out or run dry.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 17th December 2015 SHORTCUTS II Apostle Grace Lubega

[1 Timothy 4:15 AMP]; Practice and cultivate and meditate upon these duties throw yourself wholly into them (as your ministry) so that your progress may be evident to everybody.

When you say you are a Christian, the way you read the word is supposed to show that you are wholly yielded. Don't just read, don't just attend service. There is a place and level for those who pray and at times don't pray, they listen to sermons and at times they don't.

If it is still expensive for you to yield to certain things, then you need to be reminded why people get Born Again and why you got Born Again. People get Born Again because there is a life and it is eternal life to know the one true God and his only Son Jesus Christ. Our primary mandate as believers is to know God and his one true Son Jesus.

How do you read the word? Determine to be someone who invests in reading the word, who has deliberately created time to read the Bible, who wants to know the whole story. Read a few commentaries, borrow from the interlinear, try to study the interpretation of all things from different translations. That is how you should study the Bible, not like those people who just look at the Bible at face value and run with it, prophesy with it but when you look at the word, their interpretation of it is too shallow.

Understand that if you don't function from a place of revelation, you cannot see God. God is visible in the place where there is revelation. The reason why we push you to study the word more intimately is so that God might become revelational to you as an individual so that by the time we come to preach the gospel, it is evidently revealed to you.

Excerpt from the Sermon: APOSTOLIC VOICES, 13th September 2015 by Apostle Grace Lubega

God is visible in the place where there is revelation.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 16th December 2015 SHORTCUTS Apostle Grace Lubega

[1 Timothy 4:15]; Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

The bible says give yourselves wholly unto these things that your profiting might be evident; that it may appear to all. When a man gives himself wholly to the word, his profiting appears to all. You don't need to say it. You don't even need to give testimonies or speak about yourself and how you profit. People just look at you and realize that there is profit in this woman’s life; there is something different about her.

Unfortunately, we are living in a generation that has not learnt to give themselves wholly and fully to these things. Understand that the attention you give the word of God is the attention God will give you. You have to take salvation more serious if you are also serious about growing in God.

There are people who have been to church for years but are not fully given to these things.  So when their lives do not reflect a certain growth, they wonder; ‘what is happening to me? I need to speak to the pastor, maybe it is this or that.’ You blame everything around yet the problem is that you refused a shortcut. The shortcut is the word.

Excerpt from the Sermon: APOSTOLIC VOICES, 13th September 2015 by Apostle Grace Lubega

The attention you give the word of God is the attention God will give you.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 15th December 2015 THE PRICE OF THE GOSPEL Apostle Grace Lubega

[Mark 8:36]; For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

I have preached the gospel in some truly dangerous places. For example, I have preached in native mainland China where you can get arrested for preaching. In such a place, while you preach, men can approach you and it is up to you to ensure that by the time they arrive, you are done preaching. I tell you I have seen war; our Ugandan people have not understood war.

One time when I was in India preaching at the pulpit, some men came and told me that according to my passport, I was not supposed to preach in cantonment areas. I told God, I know that I am dark skinned but let these men see an Indian instead.  The men took back a report that there was no black man preaching.  Despite the dangers, we still entered certain places and preached.

If you do not experience that sort of shaking, there’s a way you can’t truly experience God.  You have to live at the edges to see God. Get out of those comfort zones to places where your faith is shaken enough for you to see God.

You must sell your soul to God. I insist, you must sell your soul to God. Why? We want revival. Do you think we are going to stop persecution? No. However, we are going to thrive in its presence because He prepares a table in the presence of my enemies; he increases the anointing and my cup runs over.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 14th December 2015 THESE ARE OUR DAYS Apostle Grace Lubega

[Psalms 42:1]; As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God.

When I was at campus, I got a bunch of about five guys, and I told them, ‘let’s pray until people start to join us.’ We entered a certain room and prayed from 6pm-10pm the first and second time. The third time, the anointing hit everybody who passed by our room. Those are the ones we dragged into the room and continued praying. It arrested two reverends; some other guy was passing by on his way to the library and he was hit, another female reverend was also minding her own business and fell under the power. The next thing we knew, people started to come.

We prayed until the room was too full that even on rainy days, people attended the service standing outside and looking through the windows just because they wanted God. That’s how we know revival. We didn’t know it by breeding contentions among ourselves.

Miracles started to happen in our meetings without solicitation. While you’re still preaching a guy would say, ‘I am healed, here is the clutch.’ Someone would throw away glasses while you’re praying, another one removes the hearing aid. That is how revival hit our university. We just didn’t want to go back home with one degree. The university will give you one degree; the gospel gives you 360.

We were hungry for one thing, for God to show up or we die. We didn’t know who is doctrinally right, wrong or who is cult; our business was simple, we wanted Christ.  That is the generation we want to raise.

People want revival; people want answered prayer; people want to experience God. I want to hear the voice of God again. I want to enter a meeting and feel the power and presence of God come up in the room. God we are hungry.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 13th December 2015 A TEST OF MATURITY Apostle Grace Lubega

[1 Corinthians 3:1]; And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.  I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

The strife, envying, carnality, divisions and competition you see in the body of Christ and in the Christian faith define the church as men. The mind of God in maturity doesn’t seek to define you as men because you are more than men, praise the Lord Jesus.

When you see Christians fighting each other, having divisions, envying, strife and speaking evil about one another, it is because they are men. Spirits do not do that.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;  Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

If a man drags you to court, maligns you in the newspapers, tells every one within hearing distance that which you have done, then that man has not yet understood maturity. Paul says if there is still strife, envying and contention you are yet men because our weapons are not supposed to be carnal.  We ought not to fight like men fight.
