prepare for expansion (word by Jared)

Isaiah 54:2
“Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; do not spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.

At the end of 2004, during one of our services, the Lord told our church this: “I your God have gone ahead of you and I have already been to your future. I have seen it. And I declare that it is good.”

Although this word was given through me to our church, I believe that it is not only for our church, but also for every member of the body of Christ.

I tell you, when God declares your future good, it will be good! It will be filled with many wonderfully good days!

So what do you do when the Lord tells you that you are going to have a good future loaded with His blessings? You prepare for it! In other words, before the blessings come, before the increase comes, He wants you to enlarge the place of your tent and stretch forth the curtains of your dwellings.

For example, if you are believing God for a child, start reading books on babies and preparing the baby’s room. In fact, prepare to have more than one child. Start looking for a bigger place for your family for God says, “Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; do not spare; lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.” Get ready for expansion!

My friend, God wants you to get ready, and expect such favor and increase in the days ahead that “you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate cities inhabited”. (Isaiah 54:3)

Because God has declared your future good, know that you stand on favor ground today. Expect good things to happen to you. Expect to see the favor of God on you and your family. Expect the blessings and increase of the Lord. Expect many good days to show up in your life!

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 24th October 2015 GOD'S BUSINESS Apostle Grace Lubega

[Romans 15:18]; For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me, to make the Gentiles obedient by word and deed.

The challenge with our generation is that they don't know the difference between the things God does on us and the things he does in us. They look at cars, houses, a huge ministry, a high paying job and define them as the things that God has done in them. Those are things he has done on you. There are things Christ does in you.

You may need a car and the Lord gives it to you but you still yearn for more. You ask for a house and he gives it to you but you still yearn for more. You ask for a man and God gives him to you. You ask for children and you get them. You ask for everything you need and you still stay with a hunger or a thirst for God.

Between me and you, we know that nothing in this world really satisfies. Solomon says he did everything in the world to the uttermost realization that all was vanity.

What is the true conviction of the body of Christ? Some of us can think that primarily the convictions in the body of Christ surround the needs of men. Let me submit to you that they ought to surround the need of divine purpose.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 23rd October 2015 GOD I AM AVAILABLE Apostle Grace Lubega

[Psalms 33:16]; There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.

God does not save by many. God saves and deals with available men. He is not a God who looks to the numbers. He looks to the substance of that individual who is available. Unfortunately, there are people in the body of Christ who are present but are not available.

The spirit of competition crept into church. When a man sings, he wants the neighbor to know he can sing. If he is an intercessor, he will pray for four more hours so that you understand he is the intercessor of all. When he is an usher, he walks in a way that shows that he is the chief usher. When he realizes that there is one greater than him, he goes to the pastor with news about sister so and so and what she has done.

Moreover, he also bows his head and says ‘God use me'. God use you to do what? To gossip? There is this petty Christian who says that she will not attend the conference because it was organized without first inquiring from her or that they did not call her to attend it.  Is it about the ones that forgot to call you or the God who called you? It is God who honours men; who glorifies men.

If the glory comes from God, it does not matter if a thousand people step on your head, you will still shine.  However, if the honour does not come from God, it will make you stumble.

If it comes from God, it does not matter if they close the window, he will pass through the door. If they close the door he will come through the ventilator. If they close the ventilators, he will remove the roof. He will use you and cause you to shine before men.

Excerpt from the sermon: THE TRUE HEDGE by Apostle Grace Lubega

SERVING GOD by Bwayos

 Hebrews 6:10 KJV
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

Praise God, if you're attentive say amen!

This portion of scripture says that God is not "unrighteous" to forget your work and labour........ in that you have ministered to the saints and do minister.

Lets first pose here for a minute.

Do you know that each one of us has gifts, (1peter4:10) which have been given unto us by God?

Are we using those gifts wherein glorifying his name?

Ok lets get back to where we we're.

God tells us that he is not unrighteous to forget our work and labour.

We need to get to a place where we serve not men but God.
My sister when you wipe those seats , wipe them like yo working for the lord.
The worship team, when yo singing , sing with all yo heart and let the anointing flow.

Today you guys sang and I felt heaven in  church.
When you sing with the mindset of impressing men , trust me you'll be hindering the anointing from falling.
Same applies to the band .

Let me break it down for you.

Before you think of leaving a certain ministration thinking that the church can't do without you;
Put it in mind that before you came to church to play that guitor, there was some one who was playing it.

And when you live, some one else will come to play that guitor .

Whether you like it or not, service will continue with or without you.
The church is not any place "toilet" to exercise mediocrity.
It is God's house and God can use any thing to serve him.
Do you know that even stones, frogs , birds lilies etc worship God too?

Would you feel good if God used a cockroach to arrange the chairs in church when yo seated there?

I urge you mighty men and women of God to humble yo selves and serve God diligently (Ephesians6:5-7 , 1 Samuel12:24 , Deutronomy 13:4)

God is a spirit and they that worship him should worship in truth and in spirit .

John did not say in truth and in "spirits" when he was writing this scripture.
I have seen men stand on the pulpit and minister a heavy anointing.
But after church , you see them in clubs and bars emptying glasses of spirits and wines, fornicating and so on.

You can not serve two masters.
You've got to choose one

You don't work in yo self; God works in you

Matthew 6:24 KJV
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 22nd October 2015 DISTINCTIONS IN SOUND II Apostle Grace Lubega

[1 Corinthians 14:10-11]; There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification. Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall be a barbarian unto me.

Voices draw meanings. Sounds draw distinctions in the meaning. In this world, there will be many preachers and every preacher can come with a meaning but not every preacher comes with distinction.

That is why we sat in churches but it felt like we were watching a Nigerian movie. You see the meaning but there was no distinction. We would worship and even knew the songs but did not understand what we were singing.

For this reason Paul says, in malice be babes but in understanding be men. When he gets to the distinction of meaning, he says, with understanding I will worship and in understanding I will worship. With understanding I will pray and in the understanding I will pray.  He tells us that there are people who worship with understanding but not in the understanding.

There is someone who just knows the words of the song in their order but they don't sing in the understanding of the words. The ‘with understanding experience' defined the meaning, the 'in understanding experience' defines our distinctions and our distinctions are our ranks.

We are equal before God but we are not equal in the anointing. The anointing on our lives will define meaning.  However, the distinctions that define us are with glory.  A man can carry an anointing but without a glory. They may have the anointing to open a blind eye but they will not attract a thousand people to watch it open because glory attracts men. The anointing does the miracle but glory attracts.

Excerpt from the sermon: THE SOUND OF WORSHIP by Apostle Grace Lubega

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 21st October 2015 DISTINCTIONS IN SOUND Apostle Grace Lubega

[1 Corinthians 14:7-8]; And even things
without life giving sound, whether pipe or
harp, except they give a distinction in the
sounds, how shall it be known what is piped
or harped? For if the trumpet give an
uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself
to the battle.
Even the things without life have a
distinction in sound. Grammatically, this is
how it should sound; even the things without
life giving sound, whether pipe or harp,
except they give a distinction in the sounds,
how shall it be known ‘which' is the pipe.
However, the bible says, how shall it be
known ‘what’ is piped or harped?
He doesn't want to know who the apostle is.
He wants to know what comes out of the
apostle. He does not look for the best
musician. He wants to know what comes out
of the best musician.
So, we transcend the distinctions of pipes
and go to the judgment of what is piped. He
knew harps have sound but they also have
voices. The voices identify them; the sounds
define their meaning.
That's why the next verse says; if the
trumpet gives an uncertain sound, (not
voice) who shall prepare himself for battle?
Once again, here, our distinction is not that
the trumpet can be blown. Our distinction
and interest is that it ought to give a
certainty of sound because if it is not
certain we can't go for battle.
I am not talking about a worshipper who
sings. I am talking about a worshipper who
sings and the bone of a lame man hears her
say ‘get in order.' She has not told it but it
hears it. The voice is singing something and
the sound says something different.
They hear you sing but in the spirit world,
when the voice comes to a blind eye, it says
'open,' because the one they are worshipping
opens blind eyes. It says 'resurrect' because
the one they are worshipping raises the
dead. Those are the distinctions of sound.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 20th October 2015 THE SOUND OF WORSHIP Apostle Grace Lubega

[Revelation 8:13]; And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, woe, woe, woe, to the inhabitants of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

The scripture indicates that there is woe to the inhabitants of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound.

Why is this so? It is because there are many voices that are not yet sounding, and that's why the inhabitants of the earth are under a dispensation of judgment.

I want to define sound. Many believers have wonderful voices but they don't have sound. Unfortunately, we have defined  worship by nice voices but without sound. The spirit realm,  past the third dimension, does not respond to voices. Voices are in the third dimension of the spirit. The fourth dimension is sound.

Elijah can pray for rain and rain does not come and the scriptures tell us that he did this seven times. Each time, he sent his servant to check whether there was any sign of rain. The seventh time, the servant told him that he saw the cloud the size of a man's hand in the sky.  When Elijah hears this, because he has a prophetic distinction, he says, ‘rush and warn the king because I hear the sound of an abundance of rain.'

Let me submit this to you; the spirit realm does not respond to voices, it responds to sound. Christians shout a lot in lunch hours, crusades and overnights. We have voiced too much. It's about time we started to sound.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 19th October 2015 THE LOVE OF THE BRETHREN Apostle Grace Lubega

[Romans 12:10];  Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another.

There is a man who once had a misunderstanding with his wife. He beat her up, tied her to the back of the car and drove off, dragging her on the ground. That man is in prison right now.

Regardless of what someone has done, you cannot tie him or her to a car  with a rope and drag them on the ground. The children watched as this was being done. She got too bruised that she almost lost her life.

This is a man who walked to this woman years ago and told her, ‘I love you, I will be there for you. I want you to be the mother of my children’. A few years later, something happened and he did what he did.

That is a man without God. But like that man did to that woman that day, Christians do it to fellow brethren in the body of Christ every day, spiritually.

We think that our wrath is the Lord’s wrath or that our understanding of love is the same way God understands love.  That horrific picture of the man and wife is what is happening in the church of Christ today. Pastors are dragging fellow pastors to the courts of law, mindless of the people that follow them; assassinating each other's characters with no care as to who they destroy in the process; taking spiritual matters and leaving them to the judgment of natural men. It is sad. God help us.

Now then, I ask the question; what happened to the love of the brethren? That love that covers a multitude of sins? That thing that makes the Christian different from the Buddhist or the Muslim. He said that by this testimony, men will know that we are his disciples.

God has dealt with me enough to understand this one thing; knowledge never saved us, mysteries never saved us; depth never saved us but love saved us for the bible says God so loved the world that he gave his son that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. So, we choose to love men. It does not matter how much they fight us; we made that choice. We will love men.

Excerpt from the sermon: THE RICHES OF HIS GRACE by Apostle Grace Lubega

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 18th October 2015 OF THE RICHES OF HIS GRACE Apostle Grace Lubega

[Ephesians 1:5-]; Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.

I praise God for the fact that he deals with us in the line of his redemption, through his blood and the forgiveness of sins, entirely according to the riches of his grace, not your grace, your uncle's grace, your auntie's grace, cousin's grace or your hot tempered father's grace, but rather according to his grace.

Many Christians relate with God, not according to the riches of his grace but according to their understanding and their level of grace. For example, they understand issues according to the grace that is upon or in them, in their carnal sense, not according to the Spirit which is of truth and therefore many people judge matters as they think suitable depending on the degrees of their grace verses the degree of the riches of the grace of Christ.

Some ministers think that because they are too annoyed to face a Christian, God is also too annoyed to face the Christian. They think that because they are too angry because of what the sister did in the church, they think that, God is also too angry about what the sister has done.

Of course when you start to preach the Grace of God and his love, there are many people who will never accept how good God is. They will never accept God basing on his goodness, not only because he is good but also because he is too good to be God.

The scriptures are clear; it is the goodness of God, not his wrath that leads men to repentance.

Excerpt from the Sermon: THE RICHES OF HIS GRACE by Apostle Grace Lubega
