PHANEROO~DEVOTION 9th January 2016 LESSONS IN VIRTUE I Apostle Grace Lubega

[Genesis 2:22]; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man

The Bible speaks of the need to wash the inside of the cup as opposed to the outside of the cup. Understand that the man does not come from the woman but the woman comes from a man. This is why she carries the testimony of how to sort the man from the inside. She has been inside the man, she knows better. There is nothing that can sort a man except his wife.

The Bible says that a virtuous woman shall bring much honour to her husband. She is the testimony of how much weight a man carries. You do not make yourself sir- the woman does. That is why if your husband is strange, you are the one who is strange and not him.  If he is broke, you are the one who is broke and not him. If he is not clean, you are the one who is dirty, not him.

A woman ought to submit to her man because in doing so, she attests to the fact that she is the only one who can wash the cup from the inside. If you go above your husband, you will wash it from the outside. The Bible says that a man would rather sleep on the roof top than with a nagging woman; the roof top is the outside of the cup.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 8th January 2016 THE PARADOX OF FAITH II Apostle Grace Lubega

[Mark 9:23-24]; Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things [are] possible to him that believeth.  And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

When a man says, I believe but help my unbelief; this is a demonstration of the paradox of faith. Despite the fact that he admitted unbelief, Jesus healed his son.

When the bible says that our unbelief cannot make the faith of God of non-effect, it means that God has gone as far as investing his faith in these matters; even in the affairs of your life. It is of little wonder that the bible says the zeal of the Lord of hosts shall perform this. God even has zeal toward us as his children. Even after all that he has done for us, he still chose to believe for you. This is that zeal.

You may ask the question; what if I do not believe? The answer is; do you think that your unbelief will make the faith of God of no effect? Even if you do not believe, you will still raise the dead. Even if you do not believe, you will still get married. Even if you do not believe, you will make that lame man to walk.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 7th January 2016 THE PARADOX OF FAITH Apostle Grace Lubega

[Galatians 2:20]; I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Let me teach you a principle in performing miracles. The Bible speaks of the faith of the son, not faith in the son. This means that it is the son who does the believing; not the man in whom the son lives. It is the faith of Christ at work in you and not your faith.

The scriptures tell of an account where Jesus marveled at the unbelief of his disciples. The disciples were not yet born again for Jesus had not yet died and risen. It means Jesus marveled at the failure of the unborn again men to believe. Your story as a new creature in Christ is different. Unbelief is the unborn again nature trying to agree with the things of God. A new creature cannot have unbelief.

We are they that have entered into God’s rest. We have rested from our works, the chief of which is to believe. Rested men do not disbelieve for the simple reason that they rested from their faith. If Abraham did not stagger through unbelief, you are of the same spirit. Unbelief worked in the old order. You cannot say you prayed for a sick man and he died.  The man in you said Lazarus’ sickness will not end into death.  There is nothing you cannot do. The sufficiency is of God.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 6th January 2016 HOW WE PRAY Apostle Grace Lubega

[Psalms 44:8]; In God we boast all the day long, and praise thy name for ever. Selah.

We boast in God all day long. This is how your prayer life should be. ‘I am above and not beneath. I am big. I am handsome.’ If you never went to school, you say, ‘God I thank you for my degrees. I thank you because no man has an understanding like I carry. None has a mind like I have in Christ.’ If you fail an exam, say ‘God I thank you because I beat them all. Yes it is 48% but the heavens have registered 84%.’

You speak of the things that are not as though they are. ‘God I boast in you. I thank you that despite these marks by which men rate me, you rate me differently.  Either way, I will employ the first classes. For the race is not to the swift, neither is the battle to the strong or bread to the men of skill.’

If you feel inside your pocket and find that all you have are coins, you do not move by the testimony of those coins. You say, ‘God, this is loose change. I carry dollars here. It is your nature that you will supply all my needs according to your riches in glory; not the World Bank; not the economies of men; yes they can fail, but I cannot fail. Thank you Lord because you are my inheritance.’  If you pray like that, I guarantee you, your life will change.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 5th January 2016 THE ACT OF FAITH Apostle Grace Lubega

[Hebrews 11:2 MSG]; The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd.

One thing that will differentiate you from all the people around you is how to act faith. We might all be Christians but what makes you a super Christian is how you learn to act faith; what you do because you believe. What you do because you believe will always set you apart.

The moment you purpose in your spirit to move above the ordinary, expect things to try and act against you or for wrong lines to be said around you but it is up to you to either read them or not. The Bible says that we shall be judged for any idle words that we speak. When you wake up and say, ‘I am hurting’ you are judged.

I don’t care whether your husband has not come home for the last few weeks. I don’t care whether you feel sick or you have not seen anything change about your life. Even if you have tried to change things for ten years and have not yet seen any progress, talk and act it until men start to see it.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 4th January 2016 KNOW YOUR LINES III Apostle Grace Lubega

[Colossians 3:1 MSG]; So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it.

We know that Peter denied our Lord three times. After the resurrection, when the Lord appeared to his own, he sought to correct the lines that Peter had messed up.  He asks, Peter, ‘do you love me?’  Peter said, ‘yes.’ Jesus asked him a second time, ‘do you love me’ and once again, Peter said, ‘yes.’ Christ asked him the third time, ‘do you love me?’ Peter got irritated.

However, Jesus was doing something much bigger than what Peter thought. He was undoing Peter’s wrong lines.  So child of God, you are whining and crying, ‘why am I going back to this place all the time, it seems like I am not growing. I have prayed and prayed but it is not changing. The man is still the same, in fact when I pray he worsens.’ No. Practice the lines until you get them right.

Instead of straightening the lines, some people undo them even more. They say ‘I have had enough of this man! I regret why I entered this marriage!’ Hush. Say, ‘I am married to a wonderful man.’ When you got the script of your life and all lights and cameras were on you, all you had to do was act as that workmanship created in Christ for good works for which you were preordained.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 3rd January 2016 KNOW YOUR LINES II Apostle Grace Lubega

[Colossians 3:1 MSG]; So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it.

Child of God, concerning your lines, God gave you a road map. The Bible says that if a man should speak, let him speak as the oracles of God. Speak like the language of God. Speak like the message of Almighty God. Don’t ever speak anything contrary to what the word says. I don’t care whether you feel it, I don’t care whether you don’t feel it. Don’t tell me you are sick. Just do not say it!

You should understand that there are lines that are not supposed to be in your script. If you pray for seven lame men and only one lame man walks, it is not in your lines to speak of the six men that did not walk. Preach about the one who walked; ignore the six.  If your testimony is about going to the mortuary and praying for men but none was raised, don’t even mention it. It is not your line!

The day you score big and have money in your pocket, preach it. But the day you have no money in your pocket, understand that it is not your line, don’t say anything. You would rather hide and say nothing. Define your lines.
