PHANEROO~DEVOTION 7th May 2016 Apostle Grace Lubega

For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. [2 Corinthians 4:6]

GOD OUR BRILLIANCE

In the beginning, God commanded the light to shine on the earth, it did not matter whether the earth was dark and chaos was everywhere, God commanded the light to shine and it did.
This very God, who commanded the light to shine, has not commanded it to shine in you, more than that, he has chosen to shine in you.  This is regardless of whether you deserved it or not, whether you wanted it or not, he shined in you; regardless of whether you had prayed or not, he shined in you; whether you had fasted or not, he shined in you.

The Greek word for shining in the reference scripture is to radiate brilliance. God just entered you and radiated brilliance in your heart, praise God Hallelujah.  If there is any grace that defines a man illuminating brilliance, it’s in you. It is not anywhere in the world, it is not in the richest man in the world, it’s in you and that is the very reason a Christian should never compare themselves with any man outside the gospel.

God did not even ask you to do anything about it, he is the one shining in you, to illuminate the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus. The Greek word for glory is doxa, which means all God is and has.  Child of God, you have enough access in the face of Jesus, to do what God can do and be all God is. Whatever God has, you are not believing for, you have, and whatever he is you partake of his divine nature.

FURTHER STUDY: John 10:34, John 1:16

GOLDEN NUGGET: Whatever God has, you are not believing God to have, you have and whatever God is, you partake of his divine nature

PRAYER: Lord we thank you for this truth, that you have shined in our hearts, that you radiate brilliance in us. Surely we have no excuse but to shine. We are shining. And as we shine, men see your glory. As we shine, men see Christ. As we shine, men see you. Thank you for the glory in which we walk as children of the most high; as they that carry your fullness; as they that have all that you can have and are all that you can be. We grow in this testimony every day. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: [Genesis 3:14]

NO CURSE

Many people believe God cursed the man after he ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge and evil.  However, when it came to cursing, God cursed the serpent instead and not the man. He cursed the ground and not the man. God has never intended to curse the man he created. The only time we encounter curses was by the law of Moses.
We know the law was a schoolmaster (Gal 3:24), so it would only mean God wanted to teach something to men not necessarily curse them.

Galatians expressly states that Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree. What Jesus had to do was look for one of the curses written in the law and he identified that of hanging on the tree, fulfilled it and delivered us from the entire curse of the law.

Child of God, it does not matter what you did or what your mother did, there is no curse Jesus didn't pay for. If the problem was poverty, he was made poor, if the problem was health, he bore our diseases, if the problem is wisdom, the bible says, he was made our wisdom. It’s the mystery of substitution. You are not under a curse. Halleluyah!

FURTHER STUDY: 2 Corinthians 8:9, 1 Peter 2:24

GOLDEN NUGGET: If the problem is poverty, Jesus became poor, if the problem is health, he bore our sickness, if the problem is wisdom, he became our wisdom, it’s the mystery of substitution.

PRAYER: Lord we thank you because we are new creatures in Christ. We are not under any form of curse, generational or whatsoever because you have redeemed us from the curse of the law having been made a curse for us. We thank you that this knowledge is the freedom and liberty by which we live our lives, knowing that we are blessed of God, knowing that we are beyond and above curses. This is our life story. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 5th May 2016 Apostle Grace Lubega

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God [Romans 10:17].

HEARING BY THE WORD.

The word of God works, it is effectual in its working. Some people take the word of God so lightly as though it’s a passive thing which is just there waiting for them to catch and run with it, but the word of God works. What the word needs is access to your heart. The moment it gets to your heart, you will be astounded at what it can do. Never worry about the results of the word for the word is God, never worry about what God can do. Just worry that he has access to the place where he can function.

When a man learns to hear by the word, it means he can hear God expressly explaining to him what he is reading. Some men read the word but do not understand what they are reading like the Ethiopian eunuch. The word was in a language the eunuch would read but would not be understood by him because the things of God can only be discerned by spiritual people.

Learn to hear by the word. Some people hear as learned, others hear as unlearned. Some hear as initiated, others hear as uninitiated. The ones that hear unlearned can quote the scriptures and even sing them but do not have the blessed experiences of these things. When you hear as a learned man, you will read it and run with it, and it will work in you.

FURTHER STUDY: Isaiah 50:4, Acts 8:26-40

GOLDEN NUGGET: What the word needs is access to your heart. The moment it gets to your heart, you will be astounded at what it can do.

PRAYER: Lord we thank you for the word that works effectually in us. We are not they that work the word so it works, Lord we believe in its inherent efficacy. We know it’s working in our lives, in our bodies, in our blood, in our bones, in our families, in our children, in our work places, in everything that concerns us. It is working. It is working. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 4th May 2016 Apostle Grace Lubega

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. [1 John 2:27]

THE PLACE OF REVELATION.

In speaking of the fivefold ministry, the Bible says that He gave some teachers. This does not mean that you do not need teachers but rather, if a man should teach you, let him teach you from the very unction of the spirit. The use of a teacher then is, that by him you hear by the word.

His primary ministry then as a teacher to you is the first stage of hearing; at least hear what the minister preached. However, some Christians cannot even remember what was preached to them and worse still some do not even make notes yet they wrote eagerly during their biology and physics classes.

God wants to raise you to a point where by the word you hear. That is the place of revelation. But, most people harden their hearts towards God and the things of the spirit and are thus unable to perceive by the spirit. Since they cannot perceive by the spirit, they cannot relate with revelation and can’t have a part of these things.

The grace of God for the spirit of revelation is for the sole purpose that you may see by the spirit of God. The deeper a man can see in the spirit, the softer his heart is to the working of the spirit.

FURTHER STUDY: Romans 10:17, Deuteronomy 29:29

GOLDEN NUGGET: The grace of God for the spirit of revelation is for the sole purpose that you may see by the spirit of God. The deeper a man can see in the spirit, the softer his heart is to the working of the spirit.

PRAYER: Father we thank you for the spirit of revelation, by it we have access, for the revealed things belong to us. This spirit is working in us and by it we respond to these things that are freely ours. Thank you for the grace to hear, thank you because it is at work in us today; by it we have perception; by it we see. Lord we thank you. Amen.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, [1 Peter 1:3]

OUR LIVING HOPE

Our hope is full of life, Lively. We don’t have a hope that is without life. The power of hope is that, even a person without a relationship with God can wake up one day and make a positive statement, and on that confession get results. But this is not the hope God is talking about. Before you understand this lively hope, first understand the power of simple hope.

The bible says there's hope for even a tree. Trees don’t speak, they don’t fast, they do not pray, they don’t speak in other tongues, but at a mere smell of the waters, only smell, not even its actual existence but just the smell of water, the tree sprouts again.
How much more you?
Understand that lively hope is the hope that comes after you believe on the Lord Jesus, it follows after the life of God. This is the hope that you carry child of God, Halleluyah!

FURTHER STUDY: Job 14:7, Hebrews 6:19

GOLDEN NUGGET: Lively hope is the hope that comes after you believe on the Lord Jesus, it follows after the life of God. This is the hope that you carry child of God.

PRAYER: Father God we thank you for the hope that we have as your children. It is not a dead hope, but a lively hope. Lord if a tree be cut and the smell of water causes it to sprout again, how much more us when we have you? Because of this hope we cannot give up. Because of this hope we cannot draw back. Because of this hope, we know that nothing can overcome us. We live with this testimony of victory in our spirits this day, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
