PHANEROO~DEVOTION 2nd January 2016 KNOW YOUR LINES I Apostle Grace Lubega

[Colossians 3:1 MSG]; So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it.

I have learnt that there is no greater part of warfare like acting. If you are serious, act like it. Get to a place where you learn to act even when situations do not give you a reason to act; that is what the Bible calls seeing things above; you see who you are by the standard of heaven and then you act it on the earth. If you see yourself blessed, act blessed; if you see yourself healed, act healed; if you see yourself rich, act rich.

This life is a movie. Everything was orchestrated. You are preprogrammed by God to act. If you are the actor who doesn’t know his lines, then you have a problem.

By the way, even the devil is in the movie. The only difference is that unlike many Christians, he knows his lines. He knows the part when he has to say, ‘you are going to die’ and knows that your next line should be ‘I am not going to die.’ The only problem with Christians is that when the devil tells them that they are going to die, they moan and say, ‘oooh, am going to die’ to which the devil says, ‘He stole my lines! He stole my lines!’ Don’t steal the devil’s lines.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 1st January 2016 GOD’S MOVIE Apostle Grace Lubega

[Colossians 3:1 MSG]; So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it.

Back in the day, we used to watch movies where men would fly and we would call them lies. But child of God, in this movie that is your life in God, you have lines and parts where you fly. Don’t act death or poverty movies. Act Jet Lee if you must; act Superman and fly if you have to but you are never the victim in your movie.

Act sci-fi walking on water and flying in the air without gravity holding you down. Your sci-fi is from the author of truth. In fact, your sci-fi is truth. God is giving you lines that when men see you in them, they will say, ‘you are lying, she is not that rich’ or ‘HIV can’t be out of her body.’  In reply, you will tell them, ‘this movie is real, it was directed by Almighty God, produced by Jesus Christ of Nazareth, screen played by the Holy Ghost and the actors are Elijah, Elisha, John, Matthew, Luke and Lubega Grace.’

This is God’s movie. You are the star, like Jesus was the star; you are the good guy in the movie; you are the healer in the movie; the demon chaser in the movie. Just recite your lines.  You don’t die in the movie. You don’t fail in the movie. You are bigger than the world in the movie.

Your life is God’s movie and in it, you are the star.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 31st December 2015 THE PRICE OF KNOWLEDGE Apostle Grace Lubega

[Hosea 13.12]; The iniquity of Ephraim is bound up; his sin is hid. The sorrows of a travailing woman shall come upon him: he is an unwise son; for he should not stay long in the place of the breaking forth of children.

The Bible speaks of Ephraim as an unwise son who has tarried long at the place where one ought to break forth with child. His time to bring forth child has come but he is unable. This experience is like that of a woman who has been pregnant for nine months and everything around her shows it is time.

In the 15th verse, the Bible says, ‘he is fruitful among his brethren, an east wind shall come, the wind of the Lord shall come from the wilderness, and his spring shall become dry and his fountain shall be dried up: he shall spoil the treasury of every pleasant vessel.’

Ephraim looks fruitful but there is something wrong with him. If you found that pregnant woman, you would give her a place to sit because everything has changed and you know she is due to give birth. If you find the same woman after two months and she is still in the same mode, you will start to wonder why she is taking so long.

Consider this in the
spiritual sense. He is a man so God is not speaking of giving birth in the physical sense. There is nothing as bad as someone who is promising but they are never breaking forth.
Ephraim is just unwise; there is no biological reason why he is not giving birth. The problem as stated in Hosea is that he is an unwise boy.  In other words, there is a wisdom that every man   needs to be quickened. Every child of God must have a certain level of quickening in their life, ministry, business, project or whatever they set out to do. This anointing has to manifest in their lives. But the problem is wisdom.

Proverbs 14.8 says the wisdom of the prudent is to know his way. The problem is that you are rejecting wisdom; you are not investing in it; read the word, speak it upon your life, exercise and condition your spirit to pay the price of knowledge.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 30th December 2015 MIND YOUR BUSINESS Apostle Grace Lubega

[1 Thessalonians 4:11]; And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you.

It is no surprise that this instruction was to Thessalonica, the youngest church. Of them, Paul says, ‘I held and cuddled you even as a mother cherishes her children.’ He was gentle with them because they were children.  When you read the book of Thessalonians, you realize that Thessalonica is where Paul worked most with his own hands because when you are dealing with the church at Thessalonica, you can't teach them to give. They are too young yet giving is a sign of maturity in God.  It is therefore no coincidence that such babies are the ones who cannot mind their own business.

Ministries break because of gossip. People gossip and whisper things that are ungodly and go into stuff that they were not called to do. Mind your own business. If so and so stole money, let it be. If you really feel you have the zeal of God, report them to their spiritual authority.

We want to raise a church with people who mind their own business and work hard with their own hands. There are some people who are so interested in fixing other people. Let me be clear with you; leave restoration of individuals to their spiritual authorities. There is offence sometimes when you start to mind other people’s business.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 29th December 2015 THE MINISTER Apostle Grace Lubega

[James 3:1]; My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

There are still people who think that because they got a word for Sunday, they are qualified to minister to the Church. You will not understand how serious this is until you enter the life of Christ and understand that when you are dealing with ministry, you are dealing with blood.

If certain people's eyes were opened, some of them wouldn't be preaching the gospel because they base so much on gifting. As ministers, we must remember that we hold a certain responsibility to God and consequential judgment. He even warns and says, ‘be not many teachers but take heed because you have a weightier judgement.’

There are judgments that follow when you lay down your life to serve God. Some people think that they are going to stand and preach without due responsibility and accountability toward God. That is why it is important for God to first work in you before you seek to work in others.

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 28th December 2015 VANTAGE POINT III Apostle Grace Lubega

[Acts 20:26-27]; Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

The place where Paul is not accountable for any man's blood is a place where he has declared unto the people the whole counsel of God. It means that if I don't commit myself to study the word of God and yielding to his spirit to minister to you, I might lose somebody.

We might lose somebody because the minister is still playing ping pong and is not immersed in the knowledge of why God anointed them and called them to be a shepherd over the flock.  This is why we take due responsibility when anything happens to our people because we are responsible when we teach you, unless you refuse to learn.

The bible says, ‘I have good plans to make you prosper and not to harm you; to give you an expected end.’ If the Lord says he has plans to give you what you expect, in the end some people are too young to know and carry expectation. Since they are too young to carry expectation, our primary responsibility as ministers is to define a certain way in God to present Christ enough that they will have definition of their expected end. For how shall they know except if there is a preacher?

We can't say God has good plans when you, man of God or Pastor won't come in the middle to be shown your end before you preach to others. It is like hiring a driver who doesn't know where I am going and doesn't have a map to the place.  The bible says when the blind lead the blind they both fall in a ditch. You can't say we are trying to define the ends of men by the word of the gospel if in our own selves, we don't know their end or we can't push these men to a certain direction of vision. The essence of the word is vision that is why the Bible says, ‘to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery.’

PHANEROO~DEVOTION 27th December 2015 VANTAGE POINT II Apostle Grace Lubega

[Philippians 4:17]; Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

We as ministers owe God a certain accountability if we commit ourselves to minister to the lives of men.

If a pastor is poor and a rich man comes into his ministry, either that rich man will become poorer or will leave and go to another ministry because the pastor is poor. For instance a man of God may say that they collect only 200,000 shillings in the church and that is enough to cater for their daily expenses and therefore they may not be able to give their first fruit or give tithe.

So he refuses to give his first fruit and tithe because his mind is telling him he doesn't have enough money.
If a rich man should come into your congregation and sit there, even if he has the ability to help the ministry, either you will have to manipulate him by the funny talk I have heard from ministers, saying ‘get a seed of USD 700 for 7 days and you will see a miracle’ or if you don't manipulate him, he will just become meaner because you are dealing with Thessalonica (a young Christian).

So if the pastor doesn't do what he is supposed to do, then things start to happen around the ministry and the ministry is greatly affected. The rich man will be affected because the Bible says show me a diligent man, he will stand before kings and not before mean men. A diligent man will attract kings and not mean men.

When a man comes into your ministry when he is worth a million dollars, he ought to be able to increase. He cannot  stick around and realize that after 20 years he has reduced his money by 400,000$ without any increase. If the spirit of God carries away that man, understand, man of God, that it is not church hopping, you are not diligent.
