PHANEROO~DEVOTION 23rd January 2016 LESSONS IN VIRTUE III Apostle Grace Lubega

[1 Corinthians 11:10]; For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

If you believe in angels that minister to you as a woman be it financially, through child bearing, those that save you from accidents, slander and getting old before time, have power over your head. Know who you report to. He might be wrong but he is your husband. Support him. Trust me if he makes a mistake but remembers that the wife supported him, the next time, he will ask. If a man asks you, ‘what should I do?’ know that you are submitted.

I marvel when I see Born Again Christian couples having a public exchange. Who is married to who? Who is the husband? Do you madam think it is a matter of gender balance? If you marry according to the terms of the world and still think that God will intervene when you get into trouble, you better think again.

One ardent quality in a woman that the scriptures speak of is that gentle and meek spirit which in the eyes of God is priceless. It is not about a nice nose or body; not the perfect English and a good family lineage. When the Bible speaks of that gentle and meek spirit, it says the women of old endowed themselves this way. It says Sarah addressed Abraham as ‘my Lord’, not Micheal, Isaiah and definitely not sweetie. If you want to add on endearments, you can add whatever you want. Call him ‘darling master’ but he is ultimately your master.
