PHANEROO~DEVOTION 6th February 2016 LESSONS IN VIRTUE I Apostle Grace Lubega

[1 Peter 3:6]; Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.

Women are driven by emotion while men are driven by egos. That is wiring. Men are wired egoistically. Before he has feelings for you, his ego must be satisfied. That is why house girls sometimes take the place of house wives because they know how to handle these egos. He is ‘king’, ‘lord of lords’. You find that the house girl is dotting on him, and as such he feels that he is ‘King David.’

Some women have the attitude that as long as God has spoken to them and told them to go to the mountain to pray, it did not matter who the husband thought he was or what he thinks. I know women who will just storm past the man while murmuring, 'am on my way to the prayer mountain, if you want to join me, go ahead. Can you pick the kids from school because it is likely that I might pray past school closing time…There is a prophetess from Nairobi who has come with the word of the Lord to talk to us and I have to be there to hear her.' The moment you go out, the house girl comes kneeling before him and says, 'daddy, have you had anything to eat?’

The Bible says of the women of old that they addressed their husbands as 'my lord.' Since you are dealing with ego, it means that it is before sentiment, feeling or mystery and revelation. Woman, even though you are deep and the Lord spoke to you to go to the prayer mountain, before you go to the mountain, go to the man and tell him that 'God told me.' When you do that, just watch and see what happens. I assure you, he will ask you, how much money do you need, who is taking you, do you have a driver?

Excerpt from the sermon: THE STRANGE WOMAN by Apostle Grace Lubega

Woman, even though you are deep and the Lord spoke to you to go to the prayer mountain, before you go to the mountain, go to the man and tell him that 'God told me.' That is submission.
