PHANEROO~DEVOTION 13th April 2016 Apostle Grace Lubega

Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [ 2 Corinthians 3:17]

THE LIBERTIES OF HIS PRESENCE

When a man is perfected in the liberties of God’s presence, the ultimate challenge is his kind of prayer. For such a man, the prayer is not one that seeks after physical things but it is rather a prayer to see the invisible.  With this mind, men don’t go to prayer anymore because of need or by sentiment but they go to prayer for vision.

The Psalmist says he desires to dwell in the house of God, to behold his beauty and to inquire in his courts. Inquiries can only come after beholding. First see enough to inquire so that any instructions that follow come to a man who is inquiring because he first saw. This is not a man inquiring for direction, the direction was already given.

That is why the time between when God came and told Abraham to see as far as he could see at 75 and the time he came back to make demarcations for his descendants at 90 is fifteen years. The number fifteen represents new direction.

The directions were already given to your fore fathers. You’re the seed of the man who got the directions and the seed represents the word (Luke 8:11). You are the message of Abraham. When that man goes in the presence of God, he does not ask for direction because the law of liberty orders the footsteps. It is no more a matter of whether you are making the right decision because you make the plans and God orders the footsteps but rather because you are now the word of defined direction and identity. We don’t seek direction, we are the reason for direction.

GOLDEN NUGGET: When a man is perfected in the liberties of God’s presence, the ultimate challenge is his kind of prayer. For such a man, the prayer is not one that seeks after physical things but it is rather a prayer to see the invisible.

PRAYER: God we thank you because every day, we are perfected in the liberties of your presence and because we are, we see further than we can ever imagine with the greatest of precision. Thank you because the substance of what we behold defines our direction. Because we see you, we move as you, walk like you, run like you. You have defined our beginning and are surely our end. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
