PHANEROO~DEVOTION 26th October 2015 GOD'S BUSINESS II Apostle Grace Lubega

[2 Corinthians 6:3]; Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed.

When you look at the average Christian, a lot is done on the outside but very little on the inside.

We ministered with someone longtime ago.  Someone annoyed him and he left the church; since then, he truly fell. He left the ministry completely. So I ask myself the question, where did he pass? The scriptures are clear; he that comes in only does so by the door. Where did he pass?

How about those who were stoned for the gospel?  What can that man say when I bring him those who were thrown in oil, who were burnt with acid and they put on glasses but stayed preaching? What will he have to say when I bring him the one whose husband left claiming not to love her anymore because she is a Christian? When I bring the one who was denied school fees because they believed? When I bring you the one who was rejected by the whole world?

Where did you pass brother? What did God do in you? How can you give up because someone talked about you? Words, just mere words!!!

Paul was beaten in Lystra. They did not just speak against him. They stoned him. They threw him out of the city. The Bible says he got up the next morning and went to Derbe to preach that which got him beaten in Lystra.

This brother refused to pray because they spoke about him. That is offence. It is offence to the gospel. Paul speaks of  giving no offence in anything that the ministry be not blamed but in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God; in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses, in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults.

We don't give up. Whether you slept hungry, pray. Whether you slept full pray. Whether they talked about you pray. Whether they dumped you, seek God. Whether you have a child seek God. Whether they don't love you, seek God.

For us it is what he has done in us. There is a joy that he brought into my life when everything was bad. I cannot explain the joy that surpasses all understanding. There are things he did to me when no one was around. He woke me up in the night and told me not to pass in certain places. If I give up on that God who will stand by me?

Excerpt from the Sermon: THE TRUE HEDGE by Apostle Grace Lubega

We don't give up. Whether you slept hungry, pray. Whether you slept full pray. Whether they talked about you pray. Whether they dumped you, seek God. Whether you have a child seek God. Whether they don't love you, seek God.
